One day, a couple from the Bai Family was gathering herbs on a mountain when they encountered a fierce tiger carrying a pink, chubby little dumpling in its mouth. Cui Shi spread the chubby little legs apart to take a look, and her voice trembled, “It’s a little girl!”
Cui Shi carried the little girl home and said gleefully, “I found a little girl. Which of you three families wants to raise her?”
Her three daughters-in-law’s eyes instantly lit up with golden light as they scrambled to be first, saying, “Mother, give her to our family!”
Unexpectedly, Cui Shi snatched the little pink dumpling back. “I’m the one who found the little girl, so I’ll raise her myself!”
Bai Renyi gave her a thumbs-up. “My wife is still the most formidable.”
